Pets are loving, loyal companions,

they are our ‘best friends’.

How can we find comfort when they pass away?

When a much-loved pet passes away, it can be a devastating experience, especially for long-term pet owners and children.

Memorial items, such as urns and ceramic pieces, can honour a pet’s memory but they don’t provide much comfort to a pet owner in mourning. Our Comfort Cuddles Dogs, Cats and Teddies are soft to touch, comforting to cuddle and each has a chest pocket to hold a small memento of your treasured friend, such as a collar or ID tag.

Most children find the loss of their pet incredibly difficult and sometimes families seek to replace the animal as soon as possible.  Grieving is a process that takes time and each person is different.

A new pet may help with the grieving process but sometimes it can stall or sidetrack that process, particularly if someone is worried about forgetting their previous pet or feels ‘guilty’ for wanting to love a new pet.

Having a memento of your pet tucked safely inside the chest of a Comfort Cuddle companion can help you, and your family, through the grieving process because you can cuddle a soft, cuddly memento of your beloved pet and keep their memory close.

A Comfort Cuddle Dog, Cat or Teddy doesn’t replace a loved pet, but it can provide comfort in mourning and help with the transition to life without them by your side.

Comfort Cuddles founder and Cavoodle

From our Founder, Kaylene:

“As a dog breeder for over 10 years, I have brought joy and love into the lives of many families through the unconditional love of a puppy.

Some families contact me if they’re looking for a new puppy after their dog has passed away.

They tell me their biggest challenge is not being able to cuddle and talk with their ‘best friend’.

While many people purchase urns or ceramic memorials to honour their pet, I saw a need for a soft, cuddly companion to provide a comforting cuddle at a time of loss and sadness.

We designed our Comfort Cuddles companions with wings to signify our much-loved pet has crossed the rainbow bridge .

Grieving is a personal journey

but we don’t have to do it alone.

We can keep memories of a loved one close

with a Comfort Cuddle Dog, Cat or Teddy.
